Lab Assistant
Are you a night owl? Then we have the opportunity for you! Up to $35K for an analytical laboratory technician.
In this position, the successful candidate will have a degree or training in quality assurance or a scientific discipline, strong math skills, and at least a basic understanding of scientific methods, lab testing equipment, quality assurance concepts, statistical process control and charting, equipment validation, lab procedures, and chemistry or science.In this role, you will provide technical support to the Chemistry laboratory.
Responsibilities:
carrying out routine tasks accurately
performing a limited number of repetitive laboratory tests in order to produce reliable quality data
following strict methodology to carry out analysis
preparing samples
constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment
ensuring the laboratory is well stocked and resourced
recording and log results
following strict safety procedures and safety checks.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
