In this position, you will schedule surgeries at surgery centers and hospitals for all 6 MSFAS physicians.
You will communicate with the doctor about their case, with hospitals and surgery centers for availability, and with patients regarding their surgery.
You will set up pre-op appointements, and clearances from other physicians, obtain coverage and pre-authorizations from the insurance company, verifying correct billing codes, and collect surgery deposits.
This position requires the ability to multi-task and maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely scheduling and communication to provide the best care for our patients.
About Mid-South Foot & Ankle Specialists MSFAS has been providing excellent foot and ankle care for 20 years.
MSFAS is the largest podiatry practice in the Mid-South.
We have 3 locations and 6 providers who treat all foot and ankle conditions.
