We are on the hunt for an energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our vibrant team as a Permanent Accounts Payable and Receivable Lead in the booming construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who have a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy.
You will be playing a pivotal role in handling our company's financial transactions, ensuring that our accounts payable and receivable operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, facing exciting challenges every day.
Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and receivable departments.
2.
Process vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
3.
Monitor incoming payments, follow up on outstanding receivables, and prepare aging reports.
4.
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
5.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
6.
Work closely with the procurement and project management teams to ensure accurate job costing.
7.
Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
8.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
9.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
10.
Lead and mentor a team of accounts payable and receivable staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and reliability.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Proven experience in vendor payments and account reconciliation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
